We've been visiting our son and daughter-in-law, who are soon, very soon, to be new parents.
It makes one think of Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
I wrote this poem as a statement of faith in the trustworthiness of God.
It girds me with strength. (Prov. 31:18)
God Behind Me.
My way was not hidden from Him.
The path I have walked was known by Him.
He saw and heard all I did not.
He shielded me from all I knew not.
He was with me in my yesterdays.
God Beside Me.
Ever present.
Never sleeping.
Always watchful.
Constantly working.
Girded by His truth.
Wrapped in His love.
He is with me in the moment.
God Before Me.
He knows the end from the beginning.
He works all things together for my good.
All His plans He brings to pass.
None of His promises will fail.
He is with me in my future.
