Verses to Focus your thoughts

I am slowly transitioning from my old journal into the new beautiful Crossway one - it will take a while and I am happily taking my time.

Here was my project for today.* I added verses to the begining of each section of Kingdom prayers. These have helped me to focus my heart and mind on big-picture-truth when I begin to pray for folks in these sections. My sticky notes still go below these, and the verses I am praying for each group begin on the page to the right.

I am also including a photo of my pg. 61- the verses that I need to remind myself of after praying for unbelievers. That's where I was this morning!

And - from the last workshop, we came up with the idea of adding an "Urgent Care Needs" page. We put it on pg. 72 The idea is to put sticky notes here with requests from people who have asked us to pray for them for something specific. I added the page, but haven't begun to use it.

*Please young moms and working women, in my current season of life, I have much more time than you have. Make this journal work for you. Do not put off praying because it is not filled in just right. Begin small where you are! And for those that think it has to be perfect - I found a smear of blackberry jam on one of my pages this morning. Oops.
