A Word from Ted

My son-in-law, Ted, taught a class on "Moral Formation" in Ethiopia last summer.

One night in class they were talking about things that cultivated or strengthened their faith.

Several great suggestions were made.

One young man (mid 20s?) said without hesitation or the slightest bit of jest, “ My mother's prayers.”

Ted turned around from writing on the board. Smiling he said, “Is it not true that the world would be far worse off if not for the prayers of mothers?” And the class erupted with a round of applause and shouts of affirmation.

From Ted: "To all you mothers out there, we are thankful for your prayers."
