Do you want your children to have a safe place of peace, a refuge, from the storms of life?

I wrote this poem as a statement of faith in the trustworthiness of God. It girds me with strength.

Worldly power can appear powerful. But it is unstable. It is ultimately unable to determine the destiny of God's people.

I've always struggled with self-pity. Even when so many things in my life are wonderful, it is easy to focus on what is not.

The important question for both personalities is not “Are you confident?” but “Where/in Whom do you place your confidence?”
